Bruno Mazzotti is an Executive Creative Director at BBDO Chicago.
He began his career in São Paulo, Brazil, more than 20 years ago as an art director who wanted to be a copywriter. Today, he leads award-winning work for global brands, helping art directors and copywriters create the best work of their lives.
His clients have included Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Popeyes, Michelob ULTRA, Lyft, NotCo, Dramamine, Getty Images, Kimberly-Clark, Clorox, CNA, and ICHV.
Along the way, Bruno has helped FCB Chicago become Design Agency of the Year at D&AD 2020, GUT be named Independent Network of the Year at Cannes Lions 2023, FCB win North America Network of the Year two years in a row (2024 and 2025), FCB Chicago take Craft Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions 2025, and FCB be named Adweek’s 2025 Agency Network of the Year, contributing to the strongest year in the network’s history as it reached its final chapter.
As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), Bruno helped lead the creation of Caption with Intention, a breakthrough captioning design system that became an official Oscars RAISE resource and earned an Academy Award of Merit, an Oscar, at the Sci-Tech Awards 2025 for its contribution to advancing accessibility in closed captioning.
